Assessment of special needs
Applicants can in exceptional cases be admitted due to special needs. Jönköping University only allows such consideration in cases where the ability to compete is affected due to medical reasons, disability or some other circumstance of particular difficulty.
To be considered for admission based on special needs, it is required that you:
- Have Jönköping University as your first choice of application
- Have tried other opportunities to improve your ability to compete for a place (e.g., taking the national university aptitude test)
- Have marks and test results that do not differ too much from the qualifications required for standard admission.
A written application for admission due to special needs and a copy of the application must be sent to Jönköping University by April 15 or October 15 (NB send to the first address listed, not the visiting address).
