Research and Education Strategy Jönköping University Foundation is one of three independent institutions of higher education (not state-owned) in Sweden offering postgraduate programmes. Jönköping University operates on the basis of an agreement with the Government and is obliged to follow the statutes, ordinances and regulations relevant to the higher education sector.
Research and education are carried out at four schools:
- Jönköping International Business School
- School of Education and Communication
- School of Engineering
- School of Health Sciences
The four specialised and well focused schools, each with its distinct profile, address a portfolio of exciting interlinked topics relating to some of the major issues of our time: internationalisation, entrepreneurship, business renewal, innovative learning, a holistic approach to health throughout life, an interface between economy and technology in the information society and production systems for small and medium-sized enterprises.
