Invitation to Seminar On Information Logistics (SOIL)

More than a decade of research in information logistics resulted in a multitude of concepts, technologies and applications aiming at demand-oriented information supply. The SOIL seminar series on information logistics addresses selected subjects from this research field, involving internationally renowned researchers. The speakers will address research as well as practical application issues concerning knowledge distribution and sharing, automatic question answering, information demand modeling, as well as the gap between the documents and ontologies. In order to facilitate the interaction between the participants the seminar will also include a panel discussion on challenges and emerging topics in the area of information logistics.
